Ontario 2016 One Walk to Raise Funds for Juvenile Diabetes Research

Located in Studio City, California, Edward Myers & Associates, Inc., provides investigation and risk consulting services to national and international clients in a multitude of industries. Edward Myers & Associates, Inc., also supports the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), which will host the Ontario 2016 JDRF One Walk fundraising event in April.

JDRF One Walk works toward the singular goal of creating a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D) by funding research efforts to benefit children, adults, and families affected by the disease. To date, the event has raised over $68 million for T1D research.

The 2016 walk will take place April 24, at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park in Ontario, California. With a fundraising goal of $89,977, the 2016 event invites people to join the cause through participating in the walk, creating personal fundraising pages, and making donations. Participants may register as individuals or join a team; for those unable to form teams on their own, JDRF provides an automated system that places participants with an already registered team. In addition, registered participants may create a personalized fundraising page through the event’s website.
